Part of our Petite Muses collection, Nyxia is created with a lighter, more graphic approach to stitching. Her elongated silhouette, flowing lines and expressive negative space allow atmosphere and form to tell the story, while a carefully limited palette keeps the design elegant and approachable.

Recommended Fabric:
A medium-dark, muted plum, mauve, dusty violet, or similarly subdued fabric is recommended for this design, similar in depth and mood to the shade shown in the cover image. The unstitched fabric forms Nyxia’s skin and much of the surrounding negative space, making the fabric colour an essential part of the finished effect. Avoid shades that are very light, extremely dark, or strongly saturated. The ideal fabric should allow DMC 336 to remain visibly darker than the background while the delicate DMC 605 and DMC 3766 backstitch details remain clear and easy to see.
